Being called “Karen” and adjacent names means you have white privilege and more likely than not class privilege! You are being mocked for holding power and wielding it in racist/classist ways. Astonishing this is being twisted as the opposite and now is ESPECIALLY not the time
If you’ve been called out by someone with less privilege than you I would really recommend using this time to reflect on why that is rather than... act like you’ve been attacked?
I and other white women don’t deserve a pat on the back for acknowledging this — it just shouldn’t be only women of colour having to call this out tbh
