If you’ve been called out by someone with less privilege than you I would really recommend using this time to reflect on why that is rather than... act like you’ve been attacked?

Jargoned, insider language like Karen, Boomer, even "privilege" as it's used in these admonishments is a power play. It's confusing to those not in the know, and that aspect often overrides any good it might do. Speak more plainly, don't rewrite language, it will go farther

This whole manner of speaking is the opposite of good educational practice. Is the desire to teach and help or to trample and hurt?
