ooooh thank you! i didn't realise that the BBC had one as well, i need to find somewhere absolutely deserted because idk if my pride can handle "trudge slowly for 2 minutes, then trudge slightly less slow for 90 seconds" even though i know my heart and lungs need it

The 5K bit is kind of bullshit. What the app does is get you from not running to running for 30 mins straight without stopping (which means you’ll prob be able to hit 5K incl your warm up). I’d say focus less on distance and more on consistency - that’s how you’ll become a runner
