is there anything more infuriating than the rampant unprofessionalism of podcasts. just heard one where the (male) host said to his (female) guest “anyway now on to YOUR book which is on my bookshelf but uh..... uh i’ll have to find it. say the title cause i always forget it”
I honestly think (mostly male) hosts think it’s relatable/engaging to act unpolished and haphazard so that their listeners feel pally.....but like there’s a way to be unpolished and not sound like a cock?? Have some respect

This is so true. ‘Two dudes just chatting’ style podcasts. And if you really don’t know the name of the book there’s something called ‘editing’ one can try.
