We work really hard to engage underserved audiences through the journalism we do on the podcast and I’d argue that people tweeting about it isn’t the best indicator of our success. There’s more work to do, for sure and we’re making progress with every episode.
I think you guys cover great stories! This isn't about that, it's about salience with teens, etc.

Thanks. But what evidence do you have for your statement that it has "fallen flat" or that our podcast hasn't engaged younger audiences? A twitter search?

hey dino, i compiled a lot of stuff! a scrape of social media mentions across all platforms (weirdly, teens do tend to tweet a lot about the podcasts they love, eg the receipts podcast which you'll of course know about). happy to discuss methodology more in my dms!
