I was so angry when I saw that tweet I can't even tell you.
Like I actually feel like crying? You think people are a modicum more evolved than this and then they’re like “oh no, sorry! parent-child estrangements are very straightforwardly the child’s fault.”

I mean, obviously no one knows exactly what goes on between them but IMO it's pretty clear the dad's been horribly manipulative and emotionally abusive by constantly going to the media to portray himself as a victim? AND IT'S WORKED
