I'm going to try to make my dog to Ireland next year and need advice on getting the ferry. If you have any useful info about this, Martha the Dog and I would really appreciate it!
This mostly in terms of how to get from London to Dublin the quickest - Holyhead? Liverpool? I’m clueless

Holyhead to Dublin is a more frequent service than Liverpool and is significantly shorter in time

This is great to know. And to u think it’s worth the slightly longer train from London to get there?

Definitely go via Holyhead, and you can rail and sail for 50 pounds through the National Rail website. Timing is key though, as I was once stuck in Holyhead port for 3 hours in the dead of night waiting for the first train.

Dublin - Holyhead for sure. I’ve done it a few times with dog (as car and foot passenger). Stenaline Holyhead route also let us keep pup with us (in carrier) throughout sailing too when we moved to Dublin.
