The BBC's response of effectively doing "im not owned! im not owned!" and doubling down on this is also super disappointing! They should just get someone to do a real explainer on the next episode of Brexitcast and admit they fucked up

this is the thing that I don’t understand about gen X/older millennials. everything has to have a deep, political, earth-shaking meaning whether it’s making dumb videos online or getting tattoos or dating or whatever there’s a constant need to explain and justify everything.
