Of course understanding online jargon is important for the narrow goal of understanding online radicalisation, but shitposting isn't "part of that" in the sense that it is solely in the context of online radicalisation
All kinds of people use shitposting and more broadly memes (of which shitpost is actually a part / genre) for all kinds of purposes
