Hello #Edinburgh people - we have a few hours this afternoon in the centre that *ideally* we’d spend somewhere with comfy sofas, tea, reading our books. Like a comfy coffee shop or hotel lounge or something. Any ideas? Paging @sarahmanavis @HeatherParryUK too

HELLO. my fave places are: Door 127 on George Street is new and sick for coffee (pastries are a bit meh but the coffee + interior are brilliant) Under The Stairs in Grassmarket is technically a bar but has the cosiest interior Always a fan of Artisan Roast and Peter's Yard

okay i see heather has also recommended door 127! (which is the eden locke coffee bar) i'd go there and it's seemingly empty in the day
