Do you mean this rule is about one specific person in particular, or applies to any subtweets aimed at non-celebrity specific individuals?
I've made a new rule for myself that if I'm going to subtweet someone very specific who isn't a celeb I have to wait at least a month before I post it

sometimes i schedule subtweets on tweetdeck for two weeks later after pointedly changing the gender of the subject, i'm so glad this isn't just me
