I like these essays on "how x helped my mental health," I really do, but my own route to happiness is so piecemeal and banal the idea that it could have been unlocked with swimming or birdwatching is almost... fantastical!

I don't know! I've done lots of pro-active stuff too, but mostly I got a job that paid more, which was lucky, and some man came into my life, and I got older and stopped being so fussed about lots of things. A boring article though
