Do you reckon he has some rare talent which have got him his viewership or was it a bit more 'right man, right time'? I'm the wrong generation to really understand vlogging, but whenever I've seen or heard bits of him, he just seems so...charmless.

Less right man right time and more lowest common denominator stuff. Lots of shouting and overreacting = views from easily distracted kiddos = profit
