(It took me until last summer to read The Weatherhouse and now it’s one of my faves)

omg help me enjoy nan shepherd because i read a book of hers last year and the scots was really impenetrable for me (although it also converted me into a nature writing stan)

aaah I'm just obsessed with how she talks about families and how people relate to each other—maybe try The Weatherhouse? It has all these great scenes of women sort of spying on the world from the home

I haven't read any of her stuff, but I think this sounds enjoyable adds Weatherhouse to my to read pile (metaphorical pile falls over and crushes me)

I read The Quarry Wood and honestly a 120 page book took me about 3 weeks to read

This is weirdly happening to me with a book in my bag right now and there's... literally no reason?
