I think accessibility on social media plays a huge role - Alison Roman has a similar thing. She's ex BA but has made a small cult for herself out of the combination of good recipes and the ability to be able to just DM her food questions. Like the BA staff are aware of their fans
that's so nice? i really do think they have a unique set of staff - to have so many be public facing and have all of them be so likeable. i still want to know why it seems like 9 months ago everyone suddenly started stanning, and i wonder if there is a uk catalyst i'm missing

My guess is something similar to John Mulaney (the two fandoms cross over a lot) where so many Americans were chatting about it Brits started to take notice?
