Could someone write a piece on why we all suddenly started stanning the hell out of Bon Appetit

A lot of people are linking me pieces of people stanning BA (which I love!) But it *really* feels like at the exact moment I started getting really into BA, so did literally everyone else I know. WHY

from what I understand it started with Brad's show, (I for some reason, and friends with a lot of B Ameme accounts).

and while the piece I linked is an appreciation piece, I think it touches on a note about how personality fronted cooking was seen as different among the tasty-craze. That's why I linked!

As far as I can tell the BA homepage had a kind of Buzzfeed-ification about 3 years ago, changing up their columns and doing clickbaity food headlines and promoting staff personalities, and hasn't looked back

I feel so SEEN. I started listening to the podcast and that led me to subscribe tot he magazine... maybe it’s because they come across as less ashamed of eating fat and drinking booze than UK publications?
