True. I suppose having someone talk to them might help or be cathartic in some way, maybe? You kind of have to feel sorry for them in a way...sort of. (Then they go and push it to a whole lot of nope!)
yes! i think this is it. the tragedy is that a lot of men who have their brains warped (in a variety of ways) online are, for the most part, lonely men with too much free time. i imagine someone taking an interest in their paranoia is quite helpful and soothing in some way.

Feels like that could describe me in parts of my teens and early 20s. Grateful to have had solo hobbies to keep me occupied if the above was a potential alternate route.
