they’re known for their controversial ads - they started in france and other EU countries where this humour apparently chimes a little better - certain they had a hefty discussion about how these would carry over but maybe misjudged it (I agree that it’s an inappropriate ‘joke’)

like ‘get me out of here’ at the bottom, is inappropriate but this is (i think) something they care about within making their brand ‘stand out’ - they’re probably not going about it in the best way but they do WANT people to talk about the ads -
