I feel a bit hesitant to post about this bc I probably should have been looking into it months ago. But like what are you supposed to do when you get a letter from your council saying "You're registered to vote! If there's an election before June 6, you'll receive a polling card"

EU law wants you to vote in either the UK or Greece and we've found a delightfully convoluted and stupid way of administering this. I'm sorry this happened to you and I hate this bloody law.

it fucken blows! my first ever uk election i was actually eligible to vote in as well. i've emailed them because the outrage since this morning seems to be doing *something* for some people, but regardless, it sucks
