Am clearly in a minority here but just...have no interest in the "bigoted idiot gets destroyed on television" interview format? We know these people's views, we know they're bad, people who don't think they're bad won't change their minds because of it. Feels a bit pointless.

Isn't the point that, of course many do, but he clearly didn't. He hasn't been challenged like that and when he was.....he couldn't cope. That's instructive no ? Maybe not I appreciate as an ex of the team I may be biased but I thought that was the more valuable point

My thing is that I wonder how many of the people who watched that and thought "wow he got destroyed" actually agreed with his ideas to start with, it's pleasing to us because we think he's wrong but will it have changed anyone's mind?

I think while he himself may not, his followers will heavily edit it and very much will - a culture that is under-handedly encouraged by figures like Shapiro
