No love for Myst or Marathon? (the latter clearly inspired by 'Aliens' and 'Holy Grail' with the colonists shouting "run away" every time the aliens turned up). I spent hours playing Myst. Ooh and text-based Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.pic.twitter.com/eSr9yJl4sL

Would text boxes become like black and white photography—a deliberate artistic choice that some people consider "better"?

The point about directing actors in a non-native language is great. I once voiced Tony Blair and Winston Churchill for a Ukrainian animation, and the script was translated by Americans, so I had to work out what they wanted and also suggest slightly more British idioms.
