Agreed. I haven't seen the show, just seen the Discourse™, and can't get over how there seems to be this backlash against a very reasonable view that if something doesn't add value or joy to your life, you shouldn't keep it around. Great article making that clear.
<3333 thank u. I hadn't watched the show and I watched almost the whole thing for this piece and I am fucking flabbergasted at the response. Essentially, I think it's the hot take vortex combined with people needing to constantly prove that THEY ARE VERY CLEVER I READ BOOKS
