I just cannot imagine that, as a white person, you'd ever even pitch a piece saying the UK is less racist, let alone go and write it

Ok, so I didn’t think the piece was THAT bad. And I surprise myself by saying that. I think the mistakes are 1. To conflate football to wider society and 2. To play down exactly how aggressive that vocal minority is. I’ve read far worse takes tbf. Is that praise?
Yeah I just think that he especially emphasises interracial marriage which has been widely debunked (plus other issues). But again I’m white so literally my opinion doesn’t matter on this (which is why I was shocked to see him write it)
