I've never bought into the "nofap" movement, but to suggest it is "underpinned by extreme misogyny and threats of violence" is simply wrong. Just because some proponents of a movement exhibit a certain mentality does not mean that mentality underpins that movement.

The whole "No Nut November" thing is so strange, especially in how seriously practitioners seem to take it. I love Reddit but it's home to some truly damaged men who have found a (toxic) bond in their hatred of women and anyone with healthy relationships with the opposite sex.
