Thank you. Id only add that for some/many migrants the story is also interpreted to be one of migration, and that celebrating Thanksgiving in the US was a part of 'integration'/acceptance as American. As with Pilgrim-Native American part of story, obviously truth more complicated

Yeah i've even seen a sort of claim that migrants are almost better inheritors/celebrants of thanksgiving, ie more connected to the original experience of the pilgrims, and being thankful that they also had arrived safely etc.
