I'm still baffled as to what Thanksgiving actually celebrates
So it’s technically meant to commemorate when the Pilgrims and the Native Americans had (effectively) a three day ceasefire and a three day harvest festival and all ate together. I’m pretty sure this actually happened but then when that ended it was a racist bloodbath

This is legit interesting. I once tried to ask on Reddit but a load of teenage boys made fun of me. (we, the British, have had more than our fair share of racist bloodbaths so it would be most unfair of me to criticise)
