thanks charlie! yeah it's fucking bizarre – i think for people who are very ""online"" this is like, your average stuff (or at least well known), whereas for people who don't spend significant amounts of time on reddit it's like "what in the holy fuck"

tbf, it is linked to the wider recruitment for the alt-right online. these challenges help build a sort of loyalty to the community/"cause", and i think that's of wider interest because of how it links to mainstream groups (eg the proud boys)
