One other thing, I do not think your quote from
@xhamstercom that the "#NoFap movement had its roots in anti-gay, anti-woman, anti-semitic blogs" is true at all. I don't speak for@NoFap but I am an active member there and they are incredibly diverse. -
So here's the thing, and the point I think both you and NoFap are missing: it is possible for NoFap mods/admins to be well-meaning and not bigoted, AND ALSO for the anti-wanking movement to have clear and troubling links to bigotry. Example...

Some roots are in misogyny but others in things like
@NoFap which are helping men (& women) stop using pornography.@girlonthenet may disagree, but I think giving up pornography is anti-misogyny: men's porn use is bad for women everywhere, e.g.@GailDines or@CultureReframed no? -
