this is so depressing - i used to work in the heritage sector and i thought historic england did really good work. sad to see this effort get ratio'd by white supremacists.
and it wasn't even their project! like Google compiled photos from HB's collection and HB did a tweet which I assume got picked up by a PJPlanet type. culture war fought by proxy through things people feel some right to ownership of or representation in- arch/comics/brands etc
