i just struggle with sticking through some bullshit for something that's like only *okay* – it's so lazy from the writers who know we'll all just watch regardless and they'll stll make a fuck ton of money

yes! like, it's this weird double edged sword where you're not beholden to outdated television ratings, so you have the flexibility to make some good, unique stuff, but also have the ability to make BULLSHIT that can KEEP GOING ON UNTIL THE EARTH IMPLODES
