Not in the "qUoTe TwEeT tHiS wItH" way, but I would like to know if people have a story where their parents embarrassed them/punished them in a way that was so substantial, they literally never got into trouble ever again

my mum told me every time i lied i would have little pigs in my eyes, and so she could tell everytime i was lying as i'd look away so she couldn't see the pigs. and it made me convinced they just magically knew and i still can't lie to em
