      I was not a horse girl, but a horse girl was this: long, straight hair either worn untouched with a middle part or in a big braid, virgin, talks about her horse constantly, unshowered; horse girls aged 13 and below will a) whinny b) gallop and c) wear horse clothing daily

      it's difficult to explain; the horsegirl had an aura. and it was almost like a uniquely American one in that it wasn't an aristocratically posh activity, it was an incredibly conservative, new money hobby for girls whose personalities were so offputting $ coudn't buy them friends
