Genuinely wish this had been pummeled into me earlier. I’m getting there now, but there are a bunch of things I would love a do over on from my 20s. Irritated that that tweet is making the rounds and that people are hanging onto that attitude like an identity

I very much billed myself as a “I will run myself into the ground and maybe even die for you, Company!” person for my entire career and what it got me was low self esteem and a deep and dreadful guilt whenever I do anything creative for myself.
