"New iMac is super thin and light wow" Who cares? Nobody's carrying it around, once you put it on your desk and sit down it doesn't matter if it's one inch thick or ten. That shit only matters for phones and laptops, and it's weird they frame that as a selling point.
As a counter point... at my last job I commuted into work and used my own laptop, so I was carrying it around a lot. I also work a lot with it on my lap and a heavy laptop can be quite uncomfortable. But also... there are light ones already and they’re fine, so...
