Idk about wider context (definitely agree that it shouldn’t be treated as optional) but taking that quote on its own... it is pretty intimidating? I’m writing a fantasy right now set in a tidally locked world with no moon and a magic system and it’s intimidating as fuuuuuuck
There’s so much to consider, and each thing addressed blows another thing open (oh god now how do they measure time?!), and then you find yourself making those decisions between pedantic accuracy and the rule of cool and ARGHHH
