I feel like my whole life is this dance of being quiet because people won’t get me, slowly getting comfortable, eventually revealing my true self, then backing off again when once again the real me was Too Much.

The only me people actually like is the fake ass ‘charming’ shit that I can only manage for about 10 minutes at a time and requires at least two weeks hibernation to recuperate from.

Haha you’ve had bursts. Basically every time Dagwaen does *anything* followed by me not saying anything for an hour, which is usually a repeating process of me moving from ‘okay okay that was too much...’ to ‘okay okay but WHAT ABOUT THIS’ (at which point I say another thing lol)

I wouldn't say that, you come across as incredibly intellectual and I would love to talk to you for longer. I felt the same thing for many years (people barely tolerating me) up until I joined Sumo. Seriously, be yourself. Don't feel you need to pretend around people.
