Lukewarm take: Stories where the heroes prevent disaster are disappointing. I wanna see what happens when they fail. I wanna see that disaster play out.

Hahah. This one isn't really a spoiler, I don't think. If you know the core conceit of the game and series, you play as Templars here instead but the way it's framed makes it far more grey than the other AC games, and it really is a story of heroes failing and the fallout from it
