Lukewarm take: Stories where the heroes prevent disaster are disappointing. I wanna see what happens when they fail. I wanna see that disaster play out.

It's a really big limitation in our attitudes towards game narratives that we keep doing Save The World™ stories played totally straight. We assume that the player needs positive feedback in everything they do and challenging that is regarded as 'unsafe.'
