I feel this. I have three full bookcases so far myself and have barely read a fraction — tsundoku, they call it. Somehow the act of owning a book makes me feel like I absorbed its energy (not its contents, just its energy) through sheer proximity.

YES. I like walking around bookshops just to bath in that feeling. That energy I spoke of... it’s like unread stories are this strange energy contained within two covers, and walking through a library or a bookshop you’re just immersed in it.
