Similar: I spelt 'pneumonia' wrong in a primary school spelling test and my teacher got angry saying I hadn't studied, then gave me detention for lying when I insisted I had (I had). I can't imagine what she'd say about my Twitter typos lol.
Not sure if it had a lasting effect. It was my first detention (and the only one until years later) so I remember it pretty well. I remember how unjust it felt, and how little I trusted that teacher afterwards.
