i recently realized that people may be intimidated of me??? and i wanted to reassure everyone that when i type/speak uber formally it's because my brain needs the structure to get complicated ideas across (also ESL habit for being taken seriously). NOT because i'm angry at anyone
I think it’s perhaps a confidence thing. You project a lot of powerful self belief on Twitter, and in my experience folks with low self esteem can react negatively to that. That’s their problem though if so.

Yep. And like I say, it’s their problem. We are all of us responsible for regulating our own emotional responses.
