That’s not paranoia — that’s what I’ve literally been told. And I reckon people who haven’t seen my work probably still have those opinions. But damn do those opinions change fast when I get the chance to do. my. thing. Often accompanied by a look of surprise. *sigh*
Literally the story of my life. Misogyny? Perhaps. Guess I’ll just get by on spite.
Fuck anyone who puts you down. You go be awesome and make amazing things. Without what you do, what you end up with is Candy Crush and Farmville. With what you do, we get GRIS and Celeste and their ilk. What you do is literally the difference between a dopamine pump and art.
Never underestimate undervalue the necessity of your work.

I hope it's not just by spite but use that energy! Let it drive you and push you to change the narrative (pardon the pun.... Nah I'm glad I went there) for those where you work and the industry as a whole! Every team member is a gear in the machine. Without one it won't work!
