I do wonder if it does make a difference in how it appears in someone's feed. I don't know but it might make it more likely to be featured if it's quoted maybe.
Oo perhaps! Could well be that there's some well-intention logic behind it. I'm just a social media crouch haha.
I'm happy with both retweets and quote tweets, in my mind it means someone is interested in the content I'm posting, and that's something good in itself
