It was an unexpected insight, so thanks for sharing. I think a lot of this cognitive stack stuff can be a useful lens for self understanding. (I always get ENTP on the quizzes-- but it's interesting going beyond superficial understanding of extraversion or thinking/feeling.)
Likewise. I always enjoyed the 16 personalities quiz, but found it slightly lacking. Lately I've had great fun digging into Jung's original theory and using it not only to empathise with myself, but also to better myself.
For instance, the theory behind cognitive functions taught me that my tertiary trait is Ti, and that's true; if the truth might hurt someone's feelings, my default is to repress it, but push me too far and I'll weaponize it (historically).
Based on that, I am endeavouring to be up front about even unpleasant realities in times of peace so that I'll have nothing to weaponize in times of war; the truth is already out. Being a tertiary trait I'm not very good at it, and it doesn't always go down well. But with time...
