It’s just that age old thing of setting realistic goals that still hold you accountable whilst remaining flexible enough to weave around, you know, 
EXISTENCE, without triggering that (very natural) ‘I’ve failed’ response. For me, that’s a WEEKLY deadline, not a daily one.

Thanks for writing this thread yo I definitely fall into the trap of "Oh no, my streak is broken" and end up feeling like I've failed. Gonna try weekly deadlines for myself now
See if it works for you. Fundamentally I just can’t stand this idea of ‘This is the ONLY way’ because everyone is different, and every approach is valid so long as it gets you where you wanna be (and doesn’t involve, you know, satanic ritual murder or something).
as someone who has gone through the cycle of setting unreasonable output goals + feelings of failure many times: this sounds awesome, and i fully believe you can do it. i'm rooting for you!
