MCV 30 Under 30 2021 
Anyone got any tips for being okay with shitty first drafts? I need to break my habit of endless revision, but I'm seemingly incapable of making progress if I hate what I have so far... which I almost always do.

I'm not sure whether that feature (which is very clever by the way) would help or harm me with first drafts. I think wordpad helps because it's so limited. It doesn't even have pages. There's no hope of making it perfect in wordpad, so I can stop my brain from needing to.
I'm gonna try word pad I just like scrivener because I can format it like a real book and feel like I already achieved everything

Wordpad is too messy to achieve anything in except for sheer volume of thought. And it doesn't even measure that (no word count or pages), so you can only really measure it by "do I have any more thoughts I need to put down?". You can only move on when the answer is no.
