MCV 30 Under 30 2021 
Anyone got any tips for being okay with shitty first drafts? I need to break my habit of endless revision, but I'm seemingly incapable of making progress if I hate what I have so far... which I almost always do.

I think it takes conditioning oneself of "letting go" of a first draft, and making the goal be completion over quality. I *let* my drafts be ultra-bad, and push to just get to the end so I can revise with the whole structure and it's weaknesses in mind.
I think it's just tricky because when Elsa lets it go she builds a frickin ice palace, and when I let it go I burp up snow sludge, and I'm here like... until I'm making insta-castles I will not be good enough to create at all

I've worked with a few "Elsa"s and got to see their first drafts...they're not good either!! But I think having a creative environment where everyone is ok with that vulnerability is also a big part of being secure in letting go of a rough draft
