Do businesses employ trolls to bully people who post negative stuff on their company Facebook pages? I’ve been called all sorts by people with intricate knowledge of the Ts and Cs just for leaving a critical review before. Twice, on different pages.
Once back when I was in bulimia recovery because I said a mobile network’s new adverts were really triggering (they were), and once because I had a shit time booking a holiday through a travel agency and left a review describing the experience.
The first time it was literally traumatising. I just wanted to say how something made me feel, and several dozen people jumped on the post calling me names, treating me like I’d just shot fucking Santa.

Yeah 100%. I've never done that personally but I used to write fake reviews for $$ don't judge me twitter I was skint 
( so I can imagine they do this too )

I'm so sorry, that's horrendous. One good thing out of this year is I've been steering clear of FB as much as possible. It's a hellhole.
Thank you. Yeah, family and friends is fine (I’m a liberal blocker) but I stay the hell away from groups and pages. Made the mistake of peeking at the group for my local area once — complete shitshow of childish passive aggressiveness. I swear adults regress to infancy on there.
I always view it as being staffed by some jumped up nobody who is tripping balls over the tiny amount of power they have, in their mind they are super important.
Oh I don’t mean the page itself, I mean seemingly rando accounts who get really angry about negative reviews on, like, travel agencies
