He's certainly special. I'm glad you're feeling better. A friend of mine has endometriosis, and one thing that she said has greatly improved her life was getting two heating pads. One for her abdomen/lap area and one for her feet/legs when sitting at her desk
Both my mum and her twin had endometriosis (my aunt needed a hysterectomy because of it) and guys still have the audacity to tell us we have low pain tolerance for complaining 
It's fibroids on my father's side. Grandma had a hysterectomy at 21, and I found that out while recovering from a myomectomy at 21. My dad never brought it up even though he knew I had crippling pain for years. Literally told me on my hospital bedTbh I don’t know if I have it — I’m just mindful of my family’s medical history and my own history of pain. I went to a doctor when it was especially bad and the doctor said I was too young for them to bother checking 
but it’s calmed since getting the implant anyway
