Basically I think you can tell it's a good present to yourself if it's preceded by saying "fuck it, I'm getting it"

Well on one hand that's probably frustrating in its way, but on the other: that's pretty cool imo! Living your best life 24/7 ;) maybe your treat won't be a "thing" then, maybe it's a relax/break away from something pressuring you
